Some of our annual events, especially our festivals, are highly anticipated and incredibly popular, with increasing annual attendance every year.
Asian Pacific Cultural Festival of San Diego
The Asian Cultural Festival of San Diego is San Diego’s largest cultural celebration taking place each May for Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month. This fantastic event celebrates the rich diversity of our Asian and Pacific Islander American cultures. The Asian Cultural Festival of San Diego is presented by the Asian Culture and Media Alliance and was created in 2010 by Silk Road Productions.
This is a fun and family friendly ethnic event in which people come together and share the differences and similarities of our many Asian communities through song, dance, costumes, activities, and food! AniPop
AniPop is North County San Diego’s Kawaii-themed Anime Convention! The sister event to San Diego Anime Con, this event, based at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, continues the anime fun for our north county community anime fans!
We have pop culture vendors, talented artists, anime themed panels, games, photoshoots – something for everyone at AniPop! Our entertainment stage features talent ranging from idols to a fashion show with Japanese inspired designs! Learn more at www.anipop.us.
AMP Music Festival
AMP Music Festival is an exciting music and arts festival created and produced by Silk Road Productions to empower Asian Pacific American musicians and performers by providing a spotlight and platform for talent that is often overlooked and under appreciated.
The AMP Music Festival has showcased and presented over 50 Asian American musicians since its debut in 2011. It’s evolved to include art, spoken word, anime, and so much more, becoming a diverse, multi-media, music festival. Fangaea
Fangaea is where fandoms collide, for fun! Our first pop culture convention, Fangaea is a fan favorite, as it explores a variety of areas of pop culture interest, from gaming to zombies to steampunk to superheroes and everything in between!
Fangaea is our spring time fandom convention that kicks off the rest of the convention year! Catch us this family-friendly event at the Handlery Hotel in Mission Valley in San Diego!

San Diego Anime Con
San Diego Anime Con brings the fury! Our largest event, we celebrate everything Anime at this fast growing and very popular event! Started in 2023, this started with much community support and has grown to be a community and fan favorite!
San Diego Anime Con features a multitude of pop culture vendors with everything from collectibles to unique and one of a kind items only found at these types of events! We present a slate of artists whose creativity and imagination inspire future artists! The content of the anime panels range from fun game shows to the deep and philosophical, presented by community members who want to share their love and passion for all things anime!

San Diego Ramen Festival
The San Diego Ramen Festival is the newest and most exciting food event happening in San Diego! It’s time to get your ramen on – and you can go ramen crazy this November, at the Fourth Annual San Diego Ramen Festival! This is created and produced by the Silk Road Team!
We will have different types of ramen, all ready for you to try and slurp to your ramen delight! And we are going totally ramen crazy with a ramen eating contest, ramen inspired art by local artists, live entertainment, vendors, and a beer garden! San Diego Ramen Festival will return in 2026!
Scream Diego
Scream Diego is San Diego’s Halloween and Horror Convention! This is a must for fans of Halloween or horror movies! While we focus on the spooky and scary, this is a family-friendly, all-ages event.
Scream Diego takes place each October in San Diego and has an independent Horror Film Festival, a spooky kids zone with a pumpkin patch, horror based video and board games, merchandise vendors with creepy and Halloween themed goods for sale, scary themed art from local talent, a costume contest for adults and kids, and so much more horror activities and fun things to do!
