Dennis-Michael Broussard
Founder and Executive Event Producer

DennisMichael BroussardEvent Producer, Consultant, Professional Emcee, Adventurer, and Humanitarian, Dennis-Michael Broussard founded Silk Road Productions to create exciting experiences and meaningful events that inspire people. He has created a multitude of acclaimed special events and he has produced successful fund raisers for numerous nonprofit organizations. Dennis-Michael volunteers tirelessly and serves on many nonprofit boards. Lauren Garces
Vice President and Event Producer

Lauren GarcesLauren Garces has had humble beginnings and tremendous growth and leadership advocacy with Silk Road Productions.  Starting just as an intern and volunteer, Lauren is currently the Vice President of the company and hold various Director positions of Silk Road’s signature events.  With a B.S. degree in Business Administration Marketing from San Diego State University, she actively engages communities to develop and exhibit underrepresented groups.

Built with a foundation for community empowerment, education and engagement, she began to find her work come to life in larger community events outside of the university setting. She now has several years of event experience in conferences, galas, press events, guerrilla marketing events, weddings, concerts, fairs and festivals. She is a coordinator for large-scale City and County supported events such as the Filipino Sun Festival, Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair, Asian Cultural Festival, D6 Night Market, and San Diego Night Market.


Alyssa Monge
Associate Event Producer

alyssa-mongeAlyssa Monge is a graduate of San Diego State University and an experienced event producer, having been part of the creative process and execution of events for several years.






Natasha Gemine
Chief Graphic Designer

Natasha GemineNatasha Gemine is an artist whose focus is to create a wide variety of aesthetically pleasing illustrations to the best of her ability. She has most recently been involved in advertising for nonprofit organizations and community events through the creation of flyers, ads, logos, and other such visual needs that may be required.  She has been an active part of the online art community for over a decade and has gained a number of followers on various social media sites through her artwork.

Natasha has provided illustrative services to a number of independent clients; one of whom has had a cartography piece commissioned for their published novel Mordraud by Fabio Scalini which was released in 2015 and featured at the San Diego Comic Convention.  A highly ambitious and creative professional, Natasha provides stunning designs for branding, marketing, and print in the field of graphic design alongside full fledged illustration.  Natasha hopes to one day become well-known in the artistic community for her originality and aesthetic eye for visual presentations in everything that she does.


Timm Johnson
Event Producer Intern

Timm JohnsonTimm Ryan Johnson is a Graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s of Sciences Degree in Statistics and an emphasis in Actuarial Science. He has worked as a Temporary Shipping Assistant for Amada Miyachi America (formerly known as Unitek Miyachi). Timm has also a long history of volunteering at numerous events both on and off SDSU’s Campus to support multiple Asian and Pacific Islander Organizations at SDSU.  He is currently a member of the Emerging Leaders Institute Alumni Commission, and the Filipino American Cultural Empowerment at SDSU.  He aspires to have a career as a Mathematics and Statistics Teacher.


Kristine Leynes
Event Producer Intern

kristine-leynesBorn and raised on the Pacific island of Saipan, Kristine Joy Leynes has participated in the National Park Service’s local Youth Conservation Corps, assisting in the Ridge to Reef Rangers summer program and volunteering at the annual Environmental Expo held at the American Memorial Park. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry at the University of San Diego, she has served in various positions as an active Executive Board member of the Filipino Ugnayan Student Organization (FUSO), and will continue to serve during the 2016-2017 Academic Year.

As the organization’s Community Liaison, she coordinated FUSO’s 2015 Ugnayan Conference which highlighted the need for smaller, diverse communities to collaborate to create a culture of love and acceptance. Kristine continually strives to promote and explore the Filipino culture and environmental and social justice issues relevant to the Filipino and Filipino American community.
